7 August 2008	Due to circumstances beyond our control Manning's fun fair will only now be open Thursday 11th, Friday 12th and Carnival Day 13th September only.
2 September 2008	Funfair NOW OPEN WEDNESDAY 10th ALSO
2 September 2008	Currently we have 40 entrants in the parade and 20 stalls in the fete.
17 September 2008	BEST CARNIVAL YET Described as Biggest Village Carnival in Kent on Invicta Radio
1 November 2008	Christmas carnival not going ahead this year due to credit crunch! It has been decided that the Christmas Carnival will not go ahead this year to assist members of the community with the credit crunch. In place of the carnival it has been decided that the association will be providing a Pensioners Christmas Lunch - Available to all persons over the age of 60, full details will be available soon
Sat 27/12/2008 12:38	On behalf of Miss Aylesham and her court we hope that you all have had a Great Christmas and wish you all well for 2009. The Best Christmas Decorated house award this year went to Clive & Angela Ruston 36 Vale View Road Aylesham - Congratulations and well done. Our next event is we will be attending the New Years Day parade in London, for more details see our website, an excellent event and best of all its FREE!!!! Following on from this plans are now underway for our Selection event for the Court of 2009, the event will be held at the New Club on SUNDAY 15 FEBRUARY, starting at 4pm. Full details will be published shortly. If anyone has any old mobile phones, we are still recycling these, please drop them off in the bin in Just U.
